ROYCO 500 Properties
ROYCO 500 is a synthetic lubricating oil with a viscosity of 5 centistokes, specifically formulated for gas turbine engines. It is a well-balanced blend of “hindered” esters and advanced additive technology. These carefully chosen components enable ROYCO 500 to excel in today’s modern gas turbines.
It offers exceptional high-temperature corrosion protection and impressive anti-wear properties. The oil is meticulously formulated to deliver superior thermal and oxidative stability in critical turbine applications.
ROYCO® 500 Applications
ROYCO 500 is designed for high-performance turboprop and turbojet engines, as well as industrial gas turbine engines that demand longer engine and lubricant life.
It is particularly effective in engines where minimal sludge and coke buildup is required. Additionally, ROYCO 500 is recommended for helicopter transmissions. It should only be used in applications where synthetic oils are specified or in systems specifically engineered for synthetic lubricants.
